CoolSculpting Survey Results (featuring Dr. Oz)

To start off, I want to thank all of you who responded to the survey link included in last month’s e-newsletter.  Based on the responses we have received from our first survey effort, I will use this modality of feedback more often.  These responses provide me with valuable information for the next generation of aesthetic technologies that are coming into the marketplace.

93% of our respondents interested in non-invasive fat reducing technologies such as CoolSculpting.  Of those 93%, 45.5% want this technology “as soon as it is available”.  As you can see from the graph below, (please pardon the double negative) absolutely no one was uninterested in the technology.

Based on the national average pricing I quoted, 48% of responders thought the price was worth the benefit.  Nearly 51% said they still needed more information, and I will get to explaining more about CoolSculpting’s benefits very soon.  Again, 0% of responders expressed a lack of interest.

Lastly, 69% of survey takers were interested in different pricing strategies such as payment plans and package specials bundled with other services and/or products.  The details can be seen in the graph below.

In the previous e-newsletter, I compared CoolSculpting, the freezing technology for fat removal, to some rival fat-reducing technologies.  Last Friday, we hosted some representatives from Solta (also the makers of Fraxel) who demonstrated a device called Liposonix, which reduces fat by “melting” the fat with the use of focused ultrasound.

During the next week, I will also be evaluating another competing device called Vasershape.   It also uses ultrasound to heat and melt fat, combined with a massaging component to promote fat removal by lymphatic drainage.

Because this area of aesthetic technology is cutting edge, I hope to have a final decision on adding one of these devices to our service offerings before the end of the year.  Of course, when I do make the final selection, I will let you all know through this blog and other announcements in the office.

As always, thank you for your readership and prompt response to our survey.  And if you’re still not convinced about CoolSculpting’s effects, Dr. Oz will show you how it works in this video.
