I have told you before about remedies we offer here at Maine Laser Skin Care that reduce fine lines and wrinkles, improve skin tone, and effectively combat stubborn acne. However, we have never offered a treatment that does all three procedures at the same time . . . until now.
I’m really excited about this new treatment called HydraFacial. Before adopting this technology for our office, I had heard many positive reviews from other aesthetic providers I know across the country. Also, while I was at the recent American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery annual meeting, I even had the opportunity to have my own treatment done.
The HydraFacial treatment is both painless and relaxing. It is essentially a non-invasive skin rejuvenation therapy that simultaneously cleans and exfoliates your skin while also infusing nutrients.
HydraFacial uses an advanced vacuum-based medical technology which exfoliates the skin several times with each pass of the treatment tip. The unique design creates a vortex effect which removes skin impurities but also hydrates and moisturizes the skin.
HydraFacial treatments can reduce fine lines and wrinkles, and improve skin tone and texture while improving the factors that cause acne prone skin. Even better, there is virtually no downtime with a HydraFacial treatment. As soon as the treatment is complete, women can reapply their makeup and be on their way.
It is beneficial for nearly all skin types. It is also appropriate for oily, dry or sensitive skin.
Generally a series of 6 treatments are recommended. The 1st treatment is followed by a 2nd treatment two weeks later, then once monthly for the next 4 months. After the first series of treatments, many patients choose to maintain their results with HydraFacial treatments every 1 to 3 months.
Since this is a new treatment for our office, we will be having a special introductory price that will be available only for procedures performed during June, July, and August.
