Resolution Time

word cloud for year 2015The first of every year is the most common time for all of us to make new year’s resolutions. Unfortunately, more often than not, many abandon their promises to themselves in an amazingly short period of time.

However, a certain quirk of human psychology has been shown to increase the likelihood that a resolution will be carried out to fulfillment.  So what is this quirk, or secret, that increases the likelihood of keeping a resolution all year round?

The secret is this:  If the resolution helps you to look or feel better, you are much more likely to keep that promise to yourself.  This is the instance in which vanity can actually be good for you.

My challenge for 2015 to you, dear reader, is to resolve to improve some aspect of your appearance that has been bothering or bugging you for a long time.  Make 2015 the year to get rid of that unwanted hair, repair that area of sun-damaged skin, or reduce the appearance of those broken blood vessels or wrinkles.

As you know, I began Maine Laser Skin Care to help deal with these issues in order to make you look better, feel better about yourself, and present yourself to the world with confidence and pride. We already offer a wide array of services to you, and are adding new cutting-edge treatments all the time.

2014 marked our first year in Augusta, and we achieved many goals beyond my expectations.  2015 looks to be even more exciting with new services planned to roll out soon. Continue to follow this blog for important upcoming announcements.

I look forward to helping YOU make 2015 your best year ever!
