What Is A Vampire Facial?

vampire+facial_adMany of you who have been reading my blog posts have asked me several good questions about the Vampire procedures and the differences between them.  I will address the least invasive of these in this post describing the Vampire Facial, and give you links for more information.

The Vampire Facelift and dermal fillers help to shape and restore volume to the face.  For those who already have good volume and a natural and beautiful shape to their face, the Vampire Facial works well to improve skin color and texture.

The Vampire Facial combines the use of micro needling with the power of platelet-rich plasma, or PRP.  At Maine Laser Skin Care, I use the Eclipse MicroPen, which is an FDA-approved micro needling device, simultaneously.

The addition of PRP essentially supercharges the healing and collagen production process.  After the MicroPen has done its initial work, I will apply the PRP, which has been drawn from your own blood and centrifuged prior to the procedure.

We are in the process of developing individual webpages for each of these procedures, but in the meantime, you can go to www.vampirefacial.com to view more information and videos about this procedure.  If you have any questions about this treatment and want to schedule a free consultation, call Denise or Emily at (207) 873-2158.
